How it works
Can you add a feature to an existing plugin without breaking updates?
Yes, and this is the whole point of what we do. Every WordPress plugin worth using ships hooks: actions and filters the author built specifically so other code can change its behaviour without touching its files. We read the plugin's code, find the right hook, and write the change there. If a plugin genuinely has no hook for what you need, we put the change in a small companion plugin instead of editing the original.
